How do I reset my password?

To reset your password, go to the sign-in page in the app and tap "Forgot Password?". Enter your email address, and we'll send you a password reset link. Click the link in your email to create a new password. If you don't receive the email within 5 minutes, check your spam folder.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through your App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android) account.

For iOS: Settings → Your Name → Subscriptions → Haunting Fog → Cancel Subscription
For Android: Google Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions → Haunting Fog → Cancel Subscription

Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period.

Can I download stories for offline listening?

Yes! Premium subscribers can download stories for offline access. Simply tap the download icon on any story in your library. Downloaded stories will be available even without an internet connection. You can manage your downloads in the Library settings.

How many stories can I listen to for free?

Free users can access 3 stories per day. This limit resets at midnight (your local time). Premium subscribers get unlimited access to all stories, plus additional features like offline downloads and ad-free listening.

Why isn't the audio playing?

If audio isn't playing, try these steps:
1. Check your device volume and ensure it's not on silent mode
2. Close and restart the app
3. Check your internet connection (unless the story is downloaded)
4. Make sure you have enough storage space on your device
5. Update the app to the latest version

How do I sync my progress across devices?

Your listening progress, library, and preferences automatically sync across all devices when you're signed in with the same account. Make sure you're connected to the internet for syncing to work. Progress is saved every few seconds while listening.

Can I request refunds?

Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google, depending on your platform. We don't process refunds directly. To request a refund:

iOS: Visit reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with your Apple ID
Android: Go to play.google.com/store/account → Order History → Request a refund

Refunds are subject to Apple and Google's refund policies.
